Rent an historic Rocky Mountain cabin on Clear Creek…
Spend some quiet time at this fully furnished two bedroom cabin resting on 5 peaceful wooded acres surrounded by Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, wildlife and fresh air. Originally built in 1886 by a local miner, this rustic cabin is located off of I-70 on Clear Creek between Empire and Georgetown. While easy to get to, the location still feels remote. The original cabin has been improved and rooms added over the last 120+ years. It is still owned by the descendants of the original settler.
Clear Creek runs through the property making 1/4 mile of private fishing available to you. Whether you're a fly fisher, a nature lover, history buff or just want relaxation, our cabin is the place you're looking for. Only minutes away are shopping and dining in historic Georgetown and Idaho Springs, natural hot springs in Indian Hot Springs, the Georgetown/Silverplume Loop Railroad, mine tours, wildlife watching, the old unique Alvarado Cemetery, hiking in scenic Guanella Pass and the Silverthorne Factory Outlets. Central City and Blackhawk gambling casinos are a short drive away, as well as ski and snowboard resorts such as Loveland and Winter Park.
